This is our sig­na­ture prod­uct and what inspired us to start Hap­py Eat­ing House. It is made with only nat­ur­al ingre­di­ents, absolute­ly no arti­fi­cial preser­v­a­tives, colours or flavourings.

Meet Danni

Hi I’m Dan­ni and I am the own­er and founder of Hap­py Eat­ing House. I was born in South Africa and lat­er moved to the UK in 99 with my fam­i­ly. I now live in Brock­ley in South East London.

Being Can­tonese, food has always been a big part of my life and I was taught to cook at a young age by my Mum. Despite the wide vari­ety of Asian prod­ucts avail­able to buy in the UK, I’d always nev­er under­stood why there weren’t qual­i­ty, artisi­nal options avail­able for East and South East Asian cui­sine like there is for French, Ital­ian and Span­ish cui­sine. Espe­cial­ly as Can­tonese food at its heart is about cook­ing good ingre­di­ents sim­ply to show off their nat­ur­al flavour. So I start­ed devel­op­ing my own range of sauces and chilli oils. I chose these prod­ucts as they were the ones I used and loved most in my own kitchen. I want­ed to ensure that the best ingre­di­ents were used in all my prod­ucts as well as mak­ing them suit­able for those on spe­cial­ist diets e.g. veg­an and/​or gluten free. Hav­ing test­ed the recipes on friends and fam­i­ly I was giv­en my first mar­ket pitch in 2018 and the rest (as they say) is his­to­ry! I’ve trad­ed at many mar­kets over the years includ­ing Vic­to­ria Park Mar­ket, Bor­ough Mar­ket and Oval Mar­ket. I am now stocked in a num­ber of inde­pen­dent shops and deli’s around the UK as well as a num­ber of online shops. I am so pleased to now be stocked on Pip­py Eats!
