Yen aka Woks Cluckin is a Malaysian born Chinese and has grown up in Penang, Malaysia before moving to the Republic of Ireland for few years. Having lived away from Malaysia for so long now, the one thing Yen misses the most is the local street food.
Currently she is based in Manchester and running her own business called Woks Cluckin which focuses on serving up delicious Pan-Asian Street Food. Her Korean Gochujang Sauce was the very first sauce Yen created since starting her business nearly 3 years ago and is always the best seller in every event she does.
Yen’s passion for food started from a very young age as she came from a family of amazing chefs and bakers. Both her Ah Ma (Paternal Grandma) and Ah Por (Maternal Grandma) were very good cooks. Her mum is very good at baking and has inspired Yen to do the same in her spare time, sharing her creations on instagram.
