Yen aka Woks Cluckin is a Malaysian born Chi­nese and has grown up in Penang, Malaysia before mov­ing to the Repub­lic of Ire­land for few years. Hav­ing lived away from Malaysia for so long now, the one thing Yen miss­es the most is the local street food.

Cur­rent­ly she is based in Man­ches­ter and run­ning her own busi­ness called Woks Cluckin which focus­es on serv­ing up deli­cious Pan-Asian Street Food. Her Kore­an Gochu­jang Sauce was the very first sauce Yen cre­at­ed since start­ing her busi­ness near­ly 3 years ago and is always the best sell­er in every event she does.

Yen’s pas­sion for food start­ed from a very young age as she came from a fam­i­ly of amaz­ing chefs and bak­ers. Both her Ah Ma (Pater­nal Grand­ma) and Ah Por (Mater­nal Grand­ma) were very good cooks. Her mum is very good at bak­ing and has inspired Yen to do the same in her spare time, shar­ing her cre­ations on insta­gram.
